Labor Day Drowning Victim Identified

POTOMAC, Md. — Montgomery County police have identified a man who drowned in the Potomac River on Labor Day.
Rescue and recovery crews found the body of 22-year-old Mark Moore on Thursday. Moore lived in Odenton. Police were able to confirm his identity on Friday.
Authorities believe Moore lost his footing while wading in the water near the Great Falls overlook on Monday and was swept away by the current.
