Cyclist Struck and Killed In Front of Prince William High School

LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — A 66-year-old man was struck and killed while biking in front of a Prince William County high school, Friday.

The man was cycling in front of Hylton High School when a 17-year-old female driver struck him, said Prince William County police.

Police say she drove onto the sidewalk, striking the driver just before 3 p.m. The cyclist died on the scene.

The driver was not a student at Hylton High.
