Officers Hurt, Cruiser Struck During I-95 Traffic Stop

BALTIMORE (CBSDC/AP) — Authorities say two Maryland Transportation Authority police officers were hurt when a vehicle hit their cruiser during a traffic stop on Interstate 95 early Thursday morning.
The officers had stopped a vehicle on southbound I-95 near the Caton Avenue exit when a vehicle hit the cruiser. One of the officers was outside the vehicle at the time of the collision according to CBS Baltimore.
Officials say the officers and the driver were taken to an area hospital.
One officer has reportedly been taken to Shock Trauma with head injuries. The female driver was also taken to Shock Trauma and is stable condition.
The other officer is hospitalized with minor injuries.
