I-95 South Reopened Near Laurel Following Early Morning Crash

LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — The southbound lanes of Interstate 95 have reopened after a single-car accident brought the roadway to a complete stop early Wednesday morning in Laurel.
All lanes of the interstate were blocked near Route 32 while a Medevac helicopter landed to transport a person to the hospital shortly before 6 a.m.
Three left lanes were reopened a short time later, though drivers continue to experience residual delays.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
