Buccaneers Make Moves Ahead of Preseason Finale Against Redskins
TAMPA, Fla. (CBSDC/AP) — The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed wide receiver Jordan Norwood and waived defensive end Aaron Morgan.
The moves were announced Wednesday, a day before the team closes the preseason against the Washington Redskins.
Norwood had 36 receptions for 405 yards and one touchdown over the past two seasons with the Cleveland Browns.
The Redskins finalized their 75-man roster earlier this week in a bevy of moves that included the release of veteran offensive lineman Jeremy Trueblood. Defensive end Adam Carriker was also add to the reserve PUP list. NFL teams have until 6 p.m. Saturday to reduce rosters to 53 players.
Kickoff Thursday night is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
