Leader of Cocaine Ring in Md. Gets 14-Year Prison Term
GRENBELT, Md. — A Hollywood man police say who led a cocaine distribution ring in St. Mary’s County has been sentenced to more than 14 years in prison.
Forty-three-year-old Brian Deandre Bush pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute, and possess with intent to distribute cocaine and crack cocaine. He was sentenced Tuesday in federal court in Greenbelt.
According to his guilty plea, Bush and others obtained cocaine from in- and out-of-state sources, then smuggled it into St. Mary’s County.
Prosecutors say Bush was responsible for distributing between five and 15 kilograms of cocaine, and between 280 grams and 840 grams of crack cocaine.
