LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — The woman struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver while crossing the street in Landover has been identified.

Police say the woman is 42-year-old Danielle Williams of southeast D.C.

Williams was struck by a vehicle on Landover Road around 9:30 p.m., according to the Prince George’s County Police Department. She was pronounced dead on the scene.

The vehicle that struck Williams is described as a gold SUV.

Anyone with information about the hit-and-run is asked to call the Prince George’s County Police Department Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit at 301-731-4422.
