LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — A teacher at Largo High School died at the school Friday morning, school officials said.
The teacher was a substitute who was spending his first day at the school, according to Prince George’s County Public Schools. He suffered a medical emergency and collapsed in a stairwell while walking with a school administrator to his classroom before the school day started at about 7:45 a.m., officials said.
Medical crews tended to the teacher but were unable to revive him. The teacher has not yet been identified.
Classes at the school have resumed, officials said.
