RICHMOND, Va. — Gasoline prices in Virginia continue to decline.
AAA Mid-Atlantic reports that the average price of a gallon of unleaded gas in Virginia last week was $3.36. That’s well below the national average of $3.54, and three cents below the state average for the previous week.

A year ago, Virginians were paying on average 21 cents per gallon more.
Last week’s regional averages were $3.21 in Roanoke, $3.24 in Charlottesville, $3.32 in Richmond and $3.42 in Norfolk.
