WASHINGTON — A man is in custody after leading police on an hour-long, high-speed chase that began north of Baltimore and ended in Washington.
Police told media outlets that the chase began around 8 p.m. in Towson, Md., when officers tried to stop a suspect wanted on an outstanding warrant.
Authorities said the man, driving a late-model Jeep, led police on a high-speed chase that passed through Maryland’s Howard and Montgomery counties as well as Washington’s DuPont Circle before ending amid the shops and stores of Friendship Heights.
