Prince George’s Police to Hand Out Flyers in Teen’s Shooting Death

UPPER MARLBORO, Md. — Prince George’s County Police are going door to door seeking information in the neighborhood where a teenager was shot and killed in her home a year ago.
Homicide detectives are going door to door Monday night in the Kettering community handing out flyers about the slaying of 17-year-old Amber Stanley on Aug. 22. Stanley was found dead in her home.
School officials say Stanley was a rising senior at Charles H. Flowers High School in Springdale, where she was enrolled in an elite science and technology program.
