ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Three people, including two juveniles, have been hurt in a serious crash in Anne Arundel County.

Police say two vehicles were likely speeding early Sunday morning when they ran off the roadway near Spa Road and Harness Creek Road in Annapolis. Both vehicles ran off the road near a curve and struck trees.

Police said a 17-year-old boy who was one of the drivers was in critical condition Sunday morning. His passenger, another 17-year-old boy was treated for minor injuries.

The other driver, 18-year-old Oscar Moreira of Annapolis, was treated and released from a hospital.

Police say high speed contributed to the crash. Results from a toxicology test were pending.
