Family Displaced After Fire Rips Through 2-Story Lanham Home

LANHAM, Md. — Two adults and three cats have been displaced after a house fire in Prince George’s County.

Officials say the fire at the two-story Lanham home was reported around 7:15 Saturday morning.

Investigators believe the blaze was caused by an electrical malfunction inside the garage. Flames extended into the house before being put out by firefighters.

No one was injured, and the damage has been estimated at $100,000.
