WASHINGTON (CBSDC) - The Braves must not have admired the slow trot from a freshly-shaven Bryce Harper after he launched a solo homer in the bottom of the third inning Tuesday night.

Harper was drilled by Atlanta’s Julio Teheran on the first pitch of his next at-bat in the bottom of the fifth, earning Teheran a mouthful from the 20-year-old slugger and a clearing of both benches.
Harper was hit right in the thigh with a 94-mph, first-pitch fastball. He tossed his bat and pointed at Teheran.—

While no punches were thrown, the Braves’ official Twitter account mirrored the ever-classy reaction of the organization’s on-field product moments later.

And like their own players, the Nats’ Twitter account rushed to the aid of their young slugger.

By the way, the Braves went on to win.
