Catamaran Overturns in Ocean City, Killing Two

OCEAN CITY, Md. — The U.S. Coast Guard says two men died when their catamaran capsized about 30 miles northeast of Ocean City. Two other men were rescued.

The Coast Guard says a boater reported the capsized 28-foot catamaran about 9 a.m. Monday. A helicopter aircrew from the Coast Guard Air Station in Atlantic City, N.J., arrived and recovered the bodies of two men, ages 53 and 65. Another boat rescued two 55-year-old men.

The survivors were taken to a Coast Guard Station in the Indian River Inlet in Delaware.
