According to police, a man missing three teeth and wearing a striped suit walked into the United Bank in the 1600 block of K Street NW just before 10 a.m., and demanded large bills.

Several hours later, he then entered another bank just around the corner from the first, this time the TD Bank at 1030 15th Street NW, also demanding large bills.

Police describe the suspect as a black man in his late 50s, between 6’0″ and 6’2″ tall, with a dark complexion and a wide nose. He’s missing his front teeth, and was wearing a dark, pinstriped suit with a white shirt when the robberies occurred.
