LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — Washington Redskins starting left tackle Trent Williams exited Tuesday afternoon’s practice after aggravating a left wrist sprain.

The Pro Bowl offensive lineman had the wrist wrapped in ice and did not appear overly concerned with the injury.

“It’s fine,” Williams said. “Nothing to worry about.”

Williams says the injury initially occurred about a year-and-a-half ago, according to the Washington Post.

Head coach Mike Shanahan confirmed Williams has been battling a wrist sprain since camp began.

“He’s been dealing with it for a while but hopefully it’s not too serious,” Shanahan said.
