1 Dead After Shooting in Prince George’s County

CLINTON, Md. (CBSDC/AP) — Police have arrested one man and are looking for information on a car after a teen was shot to death Saturday in Clinton.
The Prince George’s County Police Department says officers were called to the 6300 block of Coventry Way around 2 a.m. Saturday for a report of a shooting. Police officers found a man, identified as 18-year-old Darius Trey Turner of Brandywine, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
He was taken to a hospital where he later died.
Police arrested 19-year-old Darryl Sherwood Adamson Jr. of Clinton later Saturday. He’s charged with first-degree murder after police say he was a passenger in a car that approached Turner in a parking lot before opening fire on him. Police say Adamson was the shooter.
Police are looking for more information on the car and any other possible suspects. The car is described as a dark-colored, four-door sedan with dark tinted windows.
