LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — A water main break is slowing traffic along a portion of Adelphi Road in Hyattsville.
The main broke around 12:30 a.m. Friday, flooding the street near Belcrest Road.
Approximately 30 customers will be without water as crews work to repair the pipe.
WSSC crews continue to make repairs to a much larger 54-inch water main in the southern portion of the county. Officials originally feared nearly 200,000 customers would be without water for up to five days as the pipe was replaced.
