LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — Police are searching for two men in connection with the robbery of a post office in northern Va., Thursday.

Police say the two men entered the Seven Corners Post Office just after 11 a.m. One of the men jumped onto a counter and demanded money from a woman postal worker. The second man stood near the exit and was armed with a handgun.

The robbers fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.

Two people inside the post office were taken to the hospital after suffering non life-threatening ailments during the robbery, Fairfax County Police say.

The robbers are described as black men between 19 and 25 years old, roughly 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall and very thin. The men covered their faces with masks.

Police are asking for anyone with information to contact them by calling 1-866-411-TIPS/8477.
