Suspicious Death in Rockville Ruled a Homicide

LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — The suspicious death of a Rockville man has been ruled a homicide, according to Montgomery County police.

Chandrasekhar Korapati, 50, of the 9800 block of Juniper Hill Road in Rockville was killed July 11 at his home. Police were called to the home at about 6:30 a.m. by Korapati’s son, who said his father wasn’t breathing.

After investigating the incident, police believe Korapati got into an altercation with his 19-year-old son and 20-year-old daughter before dying.

The medical examiner has ruled his death a homicide, but police say no charges have been filed.
