Imagine a NFL team made up exclusively of WWE wrestlers. They are athletes, right?!
Now, imagine Vince McMahon as the snarling head coach patrolling the sidelines as players cower, hoping not to hear “you’re firrreeeed!”
Remember, the WWE chairman does have XFL credentials under his belt. He does know a little bit about the pigskin and what he doesn’t he can learn from Jim Ross.
Yes, we live in a fantasy football world, but even we’ll admit this one is a bit of a stretch. Still, it was too good to pass up.
After seeing a writer had painstakingly taken the time to analyze the strengths of professional wrestlers and field an offensive roster based on their attributes, Washington Redskins defensive end Adam Carriker decided he would do the same.
In fact, he got downright giddy about it on his pro football/pro wrestling radio show, “4th & Pain.”
Here’s how Carriker’s roster looks.
Head coach: Vince McMahon
Offensive coordinator: Zeb Colter
QB: C.M. Punk
RB: Rey “Masked Barry Sanders” Mysterio
LT: Big Show
LG: Mark Henry
C: Sweet T
RG: Brodus Clay
RT: Great Khali
TEs: Undertaker and Kane
WRs: Kofi Kingston and Daniel Bryan
KR/PR: Sin Cara
Honorable mentions: Alberto Del Rio, Jack Swagger, Big E. Langston, Dean Ambros
