Fairfax Swim Coach Arrested for Allegedly Touching Young Girl

LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — A Fairfax swim coach has been arrested for allegedly inappropriately touching a young girl.

Eduardo Requejo, 23, of Fairfax has been charged with two counts of aggravated sexual battery stemming from an incident with a 7-year-old girl, police say. The girl’s mother reported to police July 3 that her daughter had been touched inappropriately on several occasions, according to police.

Requejo, who has worked as a swimming instructor at the Oak Marr Recreation Center in Fairfax since 2005, knew the girl but was not her coach and the alleged incidents didn’t occur at the center, police say.

Police believe it is an isolated incident but ask anyone with information regarding Requejo to call Fairfax County police.
