Two Firefighters Injured In Cleveland Park

LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — Two firefighters were sent to the hospital with minor injuries while battling a two-alarm fire in northwest D.C., Thursday.

The fire occurred on the 3400 block of Quebec Street in Cleveland Park around 9:30 p.m.

The fire was in the attic, but due its placement, it was difficult for firefighters to reach the blaze, D.C. Deputy Fire Chief Kenneth Crosswhite says.

The fire has been contained and officials are investigating the cause.
