LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — Montgomery County police are investigating a suspicious death in Rockville.

Police said they were called at about 6:30 a.m. Thursday to a house in the 9800 block of Juniper Hill Road for an adult male not breathing. When officers arrived, the 50-year-old man was pronounced dead.

Detectives believe the man, identified as Chandrasekhar Korapati, had gotten in an altercation with his 19-year-old son and 20-year-old daughter. Korapati’s son called 911 to alert authorities that his father wasn’t breathing, according to police.

The son and daughter, along with other family members, are being interviewed by police. No charges have been placed.

The cause and manner of Korapati’s death are being investigated by the medical examiner.
