Thousands Lose Power in Northwest D.C.

LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — More than 4,400 customers are in the dark in a large part of northwest D.C., Monday.

The massive outage spans from Adams Morgan to the National Mall.

Pepco says a down feeder is responsible for the outage, they are currently working on the scene, trying to identify any other issues.

They plan to begin power restoration by 5 p.m.
