Representing Baylor University, a number of Griffin’s former teammates, head coach Art Briles and school president Ken Starr attended the ceremony.

Boxing promoter Rock Newman, who is apparently a friend of the Griffin family, was also on the guest list. Newman felt the occasion marked an appropriate time to bash the Redskins name.

Many thanks to Dan Steinberg at the Sports Bog.

And now the newlyweds are off on their honeymoon after posting a post-nuptial rap video on Facebook. Griffin, an avid Twitter user, hinted that he’ll be silent on social media as he and and Rebecca celebrate their nuptials.

“Well brohams and brohamettes, I’m out. Enjoy the music video posted to my Facebook page and talk to you guys in a week,” he tweeted Sunday night.
