LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — Virginia police are on the lookout for a young boy who they believe was abducted Thursday afternoon.

They say the boy was last seen on Hollybrook Drive, where a man in a sky blue commercial van with tinted windows pulled him inside the vehicle.

The boy is described as 12 to 13 years old, 5-foot-1 and between 70 and 80 pounds. He has light brown hair and was wearing a red and white striped shirt with blue cargo pants.

The suspect, a white or Hispanic man, was wearing a white tank top and dark pants.

Authorities say the van has a white or gray primer spot on the back.

Anyone with information about the abduction is urged to call the Spotsylvania Police Department at 540-507-7200 or the Virginia State Police at 1-800-822-4453.
