WASHINGTON (CBSDC) — D.C. is know as the capitol that’s always buzzing with politics, culture, and the infamous elite crowds.
There’s a reason they’re called the ‘J.Crew Kids’ over in the Georgetown neighborhood. The young professionals of Washington tend to dress with a little more sophistication than other cities, but does that make them too pretentious?
According to Travel and Leisure Magazine it does.
The magazine ranks the District as the 9th snobbiest city in America. That’s a far cry from snooty mecca San Francisco which tops the list for its hip boutiques, food, and culture.
New York City ranks a close second courtesy of the high fashion and money districts.
Boston earned the bronze medal for hoity-toity cities.
