LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — As rain moves through the D.C. Metro area this afternoon and evening, a Flash Flood Watch is in effect for the District as well as the following areas through 6 p.m.

In Maryland:
– Anne Arundel County  (upgraded to Flash Flood Warning through 5 p.m.)
– Charles County  (upgraded to Flash Flood Warning through 5 p.m.)
– Calvert County   (upgraded to Flash Flood Warning through 7:45 p.m.)
– Prince George’s County  (upgraded to Flash Flood Warning through 5 p.m.)

In Virginia:
– Arlington County
– Alexandria
– Manassas
– Manassas Park
– Prince William County
– Stafford County
