Girl Dead After Hit-and-Run Crash in Md.

TEMPLE HILLS, Md. — A 7-year-old girl is dead after a hit-and-run car crash in Prince George’s County.

Police say the crash occurred Wednesday night in Temple Hills, when an SUV and a minivan collided in the intersection of Temple Hill Road and Saint Barnabas Road.

Police say the female driver of the SUV fled, though a passenger stayed on the scene.

A 7-year-old girl in the minivan, identified as Azarya Johnson of Temple Hills, was pronounced dead at a hospital. Another child in the minivan and the driver were injured.
