Nationals Get LHP Robertson Off Waivers from Twins

WASHINGTON — The Nationals have acquired left-hander Tyler Robertson off waivers from the Minnesota Twins.

The 25-year-old Robertson is 2-2 with a 5.54 ERA in 42 career relief appearances over two seasons with the Twins.

Robertson is the son of Jay Robertson, a special assistant to Nationals General Manager Mike Rizzo.

He will be optioned to Triple-A Syracuse.
