D.C. Group to Host Outdoor Movie Series in Dupont

WASHINGTON — An outdoor film series is launching this summer in downtown Washington.

The Golden Triangle Business Improvement District is presenting a series of films each Friday evening at the Heurich House Museum in Dupont Circle. The series begins Friday with “Casablanca” and runs through July 12.

The series will feature films from the 1940s and 1950s. The other selections include “Rear Window” on June 14, “Some Like It Hot” on June 28, “Yankee Doodle Dandy” on July 5 and “The Philadelphia Story” on July 12.

The films are free and open to the public. They will be presented in the courtyard of the Heurich House Museum. The gates open at 8 p.m., and the movies begin at sunset.
