D.C. Health Department Premiering ‘Rubber Revolution’ Condom Commercial
WASHINGTON — District of Columbia health officials are premiering a commercial encouraging people to use condoms.
The 30- and 60-second versions of the commercial will be shown Monday night at Ozio’s Restaurant and Lounge in downtown. The commercial, called “Take on the Night,” promotes the “Rubber Revolution” campaign, which encourages residents to use condoms.
The commercial will begin airing Tuesday and run through July. City residents can expect to see the commercial on channels including ESPN, BRAVO and VH1.
This is the first time health officials have created a commercial for the “Rubber Revolution” campaign, which launched in 2010. In the past, the campaign has produced print and radio ads.
