Assault At Nationals Game Leaves Man Critical

LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — Two Maryland men are charged with assault and disorderly conduct after police say they attacked a third man at Wednesday’s Washington Nationals game at Camden Yards.

Investigators told The Baltimore Sun that Matthew Fortese, 25, is still in intensive care at Maryland Shock Trauma after being punched and falling over a concrete barrier at the ballpark.

Gregory Fleischman, 22, of Jarrettsville, and Michael Bell, 21, of Annapolis, were both being held on $50,000 bond as of Friday morning, The Sun reports.

Jimmy Fortese, Matthew’s brother, told The Sun that Matthew was wearing a Yankees hat at the time of the attack.
