LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — Esquire has placed six D.C. bars on its annual list of the best watering holes in the country.
Raven Grill, Jack Rose Dining Saloon, Tabard Inn, The Round Robin, Off the Record and The Columbia Room all made the cut.
District establishments make up about 20 percent of the manifesto, which includes 28 establishments from across the country.
The other cities with top-performing taprooms, according to columnist David Wondrich, are Portland, Oregon, San Francisco, San Diego, Denver, San Antonio, Austin, Dallas, Kansas City, New Orleans, Chicago, Indianapolis, Cincinnati, Boston, Cambridge and New York City.
The only other locales with multiple contributions to the list are NYC, with five, and Denver, Kansas City and Chicago, with two each.
