Police Seek Public’s Help Identifying Bank Robbery Suspect
SILVER SPRING, Md. (CBSDC) - Police are still investigating a bank robbery that took place in the White Oak area of Silver Spring Thursday, and have released surveillance photos of the robbery suspect.
Police responded to a call of a robbery at the Capital One Bank in the 11000 block of New Hampshire Ave., after a suspect entered the bank, approached the teller, and produced a note demanding money.
The teller gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money, and the suspect fled from the bank.
Police describe the suspect as a black male in his mid-20’s, approximately 5’5” to 5’6” tall, weighing between 150 and 190 pounds. He was wearing glasses and a baseball hat, had long dreadlocks, and was dressed in a yellow long-sleeved shirt and black or blue jeans.
Police have released the following photos of the suspect, and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying him.
