LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — Robert Griffin III was put on display Thursday at Redskins Park.

Griffin was on the field, dropping back, and throwing passes during the first day of OTAs open to the media.

The team subtly touted the quarterback’s perseverance from reconstructive knee surgery in January by posting video of him throwing a pass to rookie running back Chris Thompson. The shaky footage was shot with a cell phone.

The team also posted a picture of Griffin dropping back under the watchful eye of the coaching staff.
