Caps Brooks Laich Hasn’t Gone Home Yet

by Blue Shorts

WASHINGTON (CBSDC) – More than a week after Washington was eliminated from the Stanley Cup playoffs, it’s expected that many Capitals players have fled the metropolitan confines of D.C. for their hometowns and an offseason of recovery.

We know for instance, that Alex Ovechkin went home to Russia immediately.

Not Brooks Laich.

Pardon the self-promotion, but the Wawota, Saskatchewan native tweeted about his favorite D.C. radio show Wednesday.

That’s at least one member of the Caps sticking around D.C.

One could speculate he’s still working with team doctors on that injury that kept him out of 39 regular season games and all of the playoffs, but one won’t.

Now allow us to return the favor.

Please follow Brooks on Twitter … if you’re not already.
