Man Arrested for Crashing Stolen Ambulance in Va.

NORFOLK, Va. (CBSDC/AP) — Norfolk police say no one was injured when a man took an ambulance and crashed it into several other vehicles.
Police tell media outlets that 25-year-old Lamont Antonio Davis jumped into a private ambulance parked in front of Sentara Norfolk General Hospital and drove off late Tuesday. After the ambulance hit several parked vehicles, Davis got out and fled on foot. Police captured him shortly afterward.
Davis is charged with grand larceny, hit-and-run and driving under the influence.
He’s being held in the Norfolk City Jail.
