WASHINGTON (CBSDC) - Daniel Snyder’s wife Tanya was presented with the Mother of the Year award by the American Cancer Society on Wednesday, according to the Examiner.

Tanya Snyder is a cancer survivor and the NFL’s Spokesperson for Breast Cancer Awareness.

The Snyders’ eldest daughter gave a tearful tribute to her mother during the ceremony, presenting a slideshow of family photographs which gave media members in attendance a rare glimpse into the personal life of the Redskins owner.
