Wanted: Input on the New Silver Line Map

LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — With the addition of the Silver Line, Metro is in the process of updating the current map.

WMATA got a lot of customer feedback from the last proposed map revision, so some improvements were made and the transit agency is asking for even more input.

In the new draft, street abbreviations were made more consistent and the geographic accuracy of the station symbols were improved where possible, Metro says. Rail lines were made thinner, and the icons for stations serving three lines were changed.
