Stabbing Victim In Car Crash On Way To Hospital Dies
SUITLAND, Md. (CBSDC) — A 35-year-old Suitland man died after he was stabbed and involved in a car accident while being driven to the hospital by a friend, police say.
Prince George’s County Police say Nick Charles Boddie was stabbed during a confrontation with one or two men at his residence in the 3800 block of Regency Parkway Court Monday afternoon.
Following the stabbing, a friend attempted to drive the stabbing victim to the hospital, but was involved in a single-car accident near Branch Avenue and Southern Avenue around 2:20 p.m.
Boddie was pronounced dead at the hospital a short time later.
A motive for the stabbing was not immediately clear, police say.
Branch Avenue was closed near the Maryland-D.C. border as police investigated during a portion of the afternoon commute.
