WASHINGTON — Delegate Eleanor Holmes Norton is opening a new district office near Union Station.
Norton, a Democrat who represents the District of Columbia in Congress, says the new office will be operational starting Tuesday morning.
Norton is closing her old office in the National Press Building. She had to find new space because of requirements from the Obama administration and Congress that congressional district offices downsize to save money.
The new office is at 90 K Street, Northeast. Norton also has a district office on Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue in southeast Washington.
