LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) - It should come as no surprise to Junkies listeners that the four donks from P.G. County are getting up there.

One telling sign of aging is a deteriorating knowledge for pop-culture references.

Like for instance, if I asked you who Neo, Morpheus and Agent Smith were, in a heartbeat you’d be able to say they’re the lead characters in one of the highest grossing movie franchises of all-time: The Matrix.

The Matrix Trilogy amassed a lifetime gross of $591 million domestically.

Worldwide, that number’s a little higher.

People saw it.

But for the Junkies, this is what we call a blind spot.

But hey, I’m sure the thousands of internet memes predicated off a movie that relaunched the careers of Keanu Reeves and the actor formerly known as Larry Fishburne could have gotten past anyone.
