Police: Maryland Man Robbed Gas Station Same Day He Was Shot to Death

SILVER SPRING, Md. — Montgomery County Police say a man found fatally shot in Silver Spring had taken part in a robbery the same day he was found dead.

Detectives said at a briefing on the homicide on Thursday that 22-year-old Christopher Davon White of Landover is seen, along with two other men, on surveillance video robbing two other men at a Lanham gas station on Dec. 10. White was found dead of gunshot wounds later that day.

Police are looking for the car in the video that the robbers fled in. It is a Scion with Maryland tags 1AX 3122. Police say it was reported stolen from Capitol Heights in November.

Crime Solvers is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information that leads to an arrest and/or indictment in the homicide.
