Woman Assaulted, Robbed at Downtown Hotel; Police Release Video

WASHINGTON (CBSDC) — D.C. police are looking for three men that robbed and assaulted a woman at a downtown hotel over the weekend.

Police say the incident occurred around 7:15 p.m. Sunday at the Hamilton Crowne Plaza Hotel on 14th Street. The woman was assaulted while attempting to retrieve her property from the robbers, officials say.

Authorities have posted surveillance video on YouTube in hopes of identifying the three suspects involved. The group was captured on camera walking down a corridor toward a bathroom.

The first suspect is a black male who was wearing a black Adidas jacket with three white stripes on each sleeve along with black pants, black skull cap, gray and blue sneakers.

Police say another suspect in the video is a black male in his late teens with a dark complexion and dreadlocks. He was wearing a black jacket with a white and blue stripe on the chest at the time of the robbery.

A third subject, also a black male in his teens, was wearing all black clothing and black framed glasses.
