Fairfax Building Fire Injures One, Main Street Reopened

FAIRFAX, Va. (CBSDC) – One person was injured in a fire that erupted in an abandoned building in Fairfax on Saturday.

Fairfax Fire responded to a call at 10555 Main Street at approximately 12:18 p.m. after an electrical fire broke out in the basement of an abandoned bank.

An unidentified victim was flown to a hospital with non-life-threatening burns to their hands and head.

Main Street has reopened in both directions between Rt. 123 and Judicial Drive.
