LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC)– The body found in the Anacostia River near the 12th hole of the Langston Golf Course Monday has been identified as 36-year-old Arlester Jay, of Prince George’s County.

Jay’s family told The Washington Post that he was an Iraq war veteran and went missing in early March. His father, Ernest Jay Jr., said his son had post-traumatic stress disorder.

Police are still waiting for autopsy results to determine how Jay died, but Ernest Jay said he thinks his son was murdered, according to The Post report.
