LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — Three people were hospitalized after a Metrobus and a car collided head-on in Arlington Tuesday evening, Metro officials said.

Just before 7 p.m., a Kia pulled out from Queen Street in front of a Metrobus heading eastbound on Columbia Pike. The Kia also made contact with another vehicle after spinning out.

Two adults riding in the Kia were taken to George Washington University Hospital with non life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Metrobus was hospitalized after complaining of back pain. The traffic problems the accident caused have since been cleared.
